Surfside Kids @ Harborside

Surfside Kids is a ministry where kids are intentionally shepherded in small groups where they are known and loved. Our adult volunteers serve with great joy and passion, knowing that they are influencing the next generation of Christ's followers. Welcome to Surfside Kids!
The Weekend Breakdown
Large Group Worship
- Each week, children participate in an age-appropriate worship time.
Age-Appropriate Lessons in Large Group
- Large group lessons are taught to each group using creative storytelling, drama and video.
- Curriculum is tailored especially for the Surfside Kids Children’s Ministry by staff and volunteers. Each month a different virtue is taught. Lesson styles include large-group worship and drama, small-group discussion and Bible study.
- Every week we teach kids
- Wisdom - I need to make the wise choice.
- Faith - I can trust God no matter what.
- Friendship - I should treat others the weay I want to be treated.
Small-Group Lesson Times and Discussions
- Children
are broken into groups of 10-12 in order to meet other children, and
work with a small-group leader who will help the children apply the
lessons to their lives.
Surfside Rewards (K-5th grade)
Children can perform two of the challenges listed and they will receive a reward:
- Bringing their Bibles
- Bringing a friend
- Memorizing their verses
- Completing a weekly challenge
We use a secure check-in/check-out system to ensure the safety of your family. Come as you are and bring your kids...they just might beg you to come back to church!
